EVA is Ethylene/Vinyl Acetate ester copolymer (Vinyl Acetate), Ethylene (E) and it is made of Vinyl Acetate (VA) made by copolymerization, English name is: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, referred to as EVA, or E/VAC. Generally vinyl acetate (VA) content in 5% ~ 40%. Compared with polyethylene, EVA due to the introduction of vinyl acetate monomer in the molecular chain, which reduces the degree of crystallinity, improves the flexibility, impact resistance, heat intermiscibility of filling and sealing performance. In general, EVA resin performance mainly depends on the molecular chain of vinyl acetate content. Because of structure component ratio is adjustable to meet different application needs, vinyl acetate (VA content) content is higher, its transparency, softness and toughness will be relatively increased. |
